Answer» A heavy blizzard at New Zealand’s Mt. Cook relegated the 23 year old, Mark Inglis to an ice cave for 13 days. He was the search and rescue mountaineer there. Following his rescue, both his legs had to be amputated knee-down due to severe frost bite.
