1.	What did you do to know whether artificial fibres give a pungent smell while burning? Write the steps of your experiment.
Answer» Cloth pieces of different artificial fibres are taken and they are burnt one after another. Wool does not burn quickly. Fibres like Nylon. Polyester, Terylene, Rayon, when they are burnt they give out the pungent smell. These materials shrink while burning.
