| Answer» When work done by a force is path independent and depends only on initial and final state then the forces are known as conservative forces . The work done by conservative forces in a closed loop is zero i.e. when initial and final positions are same the work done is zero .Example - gravitational force , electrostatic force , spring force etc. | |
