What do you mean by multiplication of a vector by a real number ?

Answer»

Solution :A vector `VEC(A) ` MULTIPLIED by a scalar`lambda`RESULTS in another vectors , `lambda vec(A)`.
Eg:FORCE `vec(F) = mvec(a)`. Here mass 'm' is a scalar .
`vec(a)`is the ACCELERATION Because 'm' is alwaysa positive scalar . The direction of force is always in the direction of accelereation .
