Answer» The term “Metaphysical Poetry” was first used by Dr Samuel Johnson. The hallmark of metaphysical poetry is the metaphysical conceit, a reliance on intellectual wit, learned imagery and subtle argument. The metaphysical poets infused new life into English poetry by the freshness and originality of their approach. Metaphysical Poetry (आध्यात्मिक काव्य) शब्द का प्रयोग सर्वप्रथम सैम्युअल जॉनसन के द्वारा किया गया था। आध्यात्मिक काव्य की विशेषता है आध्यात्मिक दम्भ, बौद्धिक कौशल पर विश्वास, विद्वत्तापूर्ण कल्पनाशक्ति और सटीक तर्क। आध्यात्मिक कवियों ने ताजगी व अपने मौलिक दृष्टिकोण के द्वारा अंग्रेजी काव्य को एक नया जीवन प्रदान किया। |
