What do you understand by reflex action

Answer» Reflex action is an involuntary and instaneous movement in response to a stimulus for example when you touch a hot pan u instantly remove your hands from it as a reflex or if u see a lion in a forest you would run away from it. A reflex is made possible by neural pathways called reflex arcs which can act on an impulse before the impulse reaches the brain
