Federalism is a FORM of power sharing.It is system of GOVT. in which power is divided between a central authority and various CONSTITUENT units of the COUNTRY.

Has 2 levels of govt.

1) Central govt. for ENTIRE country responsible for subjects of common national interest

2) State govt. for each state responsible for day to day administration.
