Answer» The Ganga protects a wide area by its waters like a fort. However, it is also a destroyer like an archer when flooded. गंगा इसकी जलराशि के माध्यम से एक विशाल भूभाग की किले के समान रक्षा करती है। किन्तु एक ‘धनुर्धारी की भाँति बाढ़ आने पर यह विनाशक भी बन जाती है।
