After seeing the books, Think-Tank says that these are eatables and calls them sandwich. He tells the crew members that sandwiches are the staple diet of earth. To confirm his opinion, he orders Omega to eat it. Omega orders Iota and lota orders Oop. At last sergeant Oop bites the corner of the book and tells a lie to Think-Tank that it is delicious. But he is surprised how the earthlings can get those sandwiches down without water. Noodle guesses that earthlings don’t eat them, but these are communication devices. Omega tries to listen to something and failed. Noodle again suggests that these are for eye communication and not for ears. At last captain Omega tries to read it.

पुस्तकों को देखने के बाद, थिंक-टैंक ने कहा कि यह खाने की सामग्री है तथा इसे सैंडविच कहा जाता है। वह अपने दल के सदस्यों को कहता है। कि सैंडविच पृथ्वीवासियों का प्रमुख भोजन है। अपने विचारों की पुष्टि के लिए वह ओमेगा को इसे खाने का आदेश देता है। ओमेगा आयोटा को तथा आयोटा ऊप को यह आदेश देता हैं अंत में सार्जेंट ऊप पुस्तक के एक कोने को खाता है तथा थिंक-टैंक से झूठ बोलता है कि वह बहुत ही स्वादिष्ट है। लेकिन उसे आश्चर्य इस बात को लेकर हुआ कि किस प्रकार से पृथ्वीवासी इसे पानी के बगैर खाते हैं। नूडल अनुमान लगाता है कि पृथ्वीवासी इसे नहीं खाते बल्कि यह संचारी उपकरण है। ओमेगा कुछ सुनने का प्रयास करती है तथा असफल रहता है। नूडल फिर सुझाव देता है कि ये आँखों के संचार के लिए है न कि कानों के लिए। अंत में, कैप्टन ओमेगा इसे पढ़ने की कोशिश करता है।
