Answer» Nothing will happen it is safe to do this. People in coma have their EYES CLOSED by tape for months and nothing happens, you just have to be sure they are closed and not half open. If they are partially open The SKIN on its surface will break down if the eye dries out, increasing the RISK of INFECTIONS.
