Answer» S.I is a coherent system of unit. In S.I system, all the derived units can be obtained by dividing and multiplying the basic and supplementary units and no numerical factors are involved. In case of CGS and MKS systems, when the derived units are obtained by dividing or multiplying, sometimes the numerical factors appear.
