What is a meander and what is the Delta

Answer»

Delta plain is formed by deposition of silt at the MOUTH of a stream or by overflow along the lower stream courses. meander is a pattern of river FLOW not a LANDFORM FEATURE.
Meanders can be of 2 types depending UPON the time at which they are formed i.e Incised meanders and meanders over flood.
