1.	What is a primary memory? Explain.
Answer» Primary memory is also known as the main memory, in which data is stored for quick access by the CPU. It allows very fast access to data. It is relatively costly. A CPU has three parts namely primary memory, arithmetic logic unit (ALU) and control unit. Primary memory is fast and costly as compared to secondary storage.
