Answer» Biomedical Waste (BMW) means any infectious, pathological and/or chemotherapy waste generated during the administration of MEDICAL care or the performance of medical research involving humans or animals. The definition of BMW EXCLUDES hazardous and radioactive waste as defined in state law.
