Jigs:- A device that does both functions such as holding the work and guiding a tool is called Jigs. Types – Drill Jigs and Boring Jigs. Fixtures:- It is a production tool that holds, locates and SUPPORT the work securely so that required machining operations can be PERFORMED. Types – Milling Fixture, Profile Fixture.
