Succession as progressive modification in Associate in nursing ecological community. Ecological successions are that the gradual method by which ecosystems is being modified and develops over time. Nothing remains equivalent and habitats are PERPETUALLY dynamical.

There are 2 main types of succession, primary and secondary.

Primary succession is that the series of community changes that occur on a completely new surroundings that has ne'er been settled before. for instance, a recently quarried ROCK face or sand DUNES.

Secondary succession is that the series of community changes that occur on a antecedent settled, however disturbed or broken surroundings. for instance, when felling TREES during a timber, land clearance or a FIREPLACE.
