What is hypermetropia? How can it be corrected? |

Answer» Hypermetropia is an eye defect also called as long-sightedness. Person can see a far off objects but cannot see nearby objects. It is because the image is formed beyond retina. Cause – (a) The focal length of the eye lens is too long. (b) The eyeball has become too small. Correction: It can be corrected by using convex lens of appropriate power. |
