1.	What is lactose intolerance? Explain.
Answer» Lactose intolerance is the inability of some persons to digest lactose of the milk due to deficiency of absence of the enzymes lactase. Lactose is fermented by bacteria in their intestine, producing gases and acids. This causes flatulence, cramps pain and diarrhoea.
