What is limiting reagent? |

Answer» That agent which limit the rate of reaction. The reactant which is present in very less amount and gets consumed during the course of reaction and stops further reaction is called limiting reagent. Or, The reaction which gets consumed, limits the amount of product formed is called limiting reagent. |
