Answer» Solution :Quantity of matter present in body is called mass. Mass is INHERENT (fundamental property of any object. Mass do not DEPEND on the temperature, pressure or location of the object in space. SI unit of mass is KILOGRAM. The PROTOTYPES of the international standard kilogram supplied by the International Bureau of Weights and Measure (BIMP) are avaiable in MANY other laboratories of different countries. In India this prototype is available at the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) New Delhi. |
