Answer» Cyclosis also known as cytoplasmic streaming is a directed and regular flow of cytoplasm (cytosol + organelles) in the cell. Its function- delivery of oxygen, certain organelles such as ribosomes etc., nutrients, genetic information. Cytoplasmic streaming is important in maintaining the concentration gradient between the inside and the outside of the cell because it quickly brings the materials to their destination site where they are used up.
