What is meant by low pressure trough |
|
Answer» A trough is an elongated (extended) region of relatively low atmospheric pressure, often associated with fronts.high pressure is generally associated with nice weather, while low pressure is generally associated with cloudy, rainy, or snowy weather. When a person takes a dose of vancomycin, the amount in the blood rises for a period of time, peaks, and then begins to fall, usually reaching its lowest level, or trough, just before the next dose. The next dose is timed to coincide with the falling concentration of the drug in the blood. A trough of low pressure is merely an extended region of low pressure. Presented at left are some examples of different trough situations that can exist |
