Answer» The United States of America adopted the open door policy in China. European power made preparation for the partition of China in 1890s. The USA felt that it would be left out. So the US proposed the "open door policy "or"Me too policy" .it meant that no country should be discriminated against China by other countries. All countries would have equal trade right in China. British also supported " open door policy "
