1.

What is overvolatage or bublle voltage ?

Answer» Some of the electrochemical processes are feasilbe, but are kinetically so slow that at lower voltages, these doe not seem to occur. Hence, in such cases `(e.g., `processes involving liberation of gases `)`, some extra voltage is required than the theoretical value of the standard electrode potential. This extra voltage required is called over voltage or bubble voltage.
