| Answer» Ozone is a triatomic gas with a molecular formula O3 which is present in the stratosphere region.Recently it was discovered that, various man-made compounds like CFC (chlorofluorocarbons) were found to persist in the atmosphere. Once they reached the ozone layer they would react with the ozone molecules. This results in a reduction of ozone layer and recently a hole in the ozone layer above the Antarctica has been discovered. | |
