What is Peltier effect ? State one difference between Peltier effect and Seebeck effect.

It is the phenomenon of evolution or absorption of heat at the two functions of a thermo couple when a current is passed through it from an external source. In Peltier effect electrical energy is being converted into heat where as in Seebeck effect, heat is converted into electrical energy.
