|
Answer» Plasma membrane is outer most layer of the animal cell and second layer of plant cell. It is also called cell membrane. It is semi perniable in nature. It protect the animal cell in unfavorable conditions. Or - All cells are surrounded by a plasma membrane. The membrane is composed of a phospholipid bilayer arranged back-to-back. The membrane is also covered in places with cholestrol molecules and proteins. The plasma membrane is selectively permeable and regulates which molecules are allowed to enter and exit the cell.....ok this is the second answer ...which one you like then learn it...ok Plasma membrane is the outermost layer in cells . It separates the content of the cell from their external environment . It allows the materials from surrounding to enter and exit of the of the cell . It controls the entry and exit if the materials in and out of the cells and hence it is called the selectively permeable membrane... a microscopic membrane of lipids and proteins which forms the external boundary of the cytoplasm of a cell or encloses a vacuole, and regulates the passage of molecules in and out of the cytoplasm is called plasma membrane...?????
