Reference Frame

A set of coordinate system in which a observer is present is called reference frame.

Reference are of two types

1. Inhertial Reference frame (a=0)-:

=> A reference frame in which either this frame is at rest or moving with a constant velocity.

=> INERTIAL reference frame has ZERO acceleration.

=> Law of INERTIA is applicable in inertial reference frame.

2. Non-Inhertial reference frame -:

=> A reference frame which have non-zero acceleration is called non-inertial reference frame.

=> Law of Inertia is not applicable in non inertial reference frame.

=> EARTH is a non- inertial reference frame.
