Answer» an activity, usually done through the PHONE but more COMMONLY the internet, where ONE person tries to gain money and/or information from another. They of course use subterfuge to obtain these things, OFTEN through elaborate stories. A person’s emotion and trust is used against them in a very painful way. These scammers do this as a business, illegal and immoral may it be. They fleece you and move on to their next victim. |
