The purification technique based on the above principle is known as sublimation. Uses: It is used to separate sublimable compounds from NON sublimable impurities. Examples: Sublimation technique is used for purification of MIXTURE of calcium sulphate and camphor. Because camphor undergoes sublimation and separated and calcium sulphate settle at bottom without sublimation.
