General electronic configuration of inner-transition elements:
`(n-2)f^(1-14)(n-1) d^(0-1) ns^(0-2)`
Thus, in transition elements, last electron enters in (n-1) d- ORBITAL while in inner-transition elements, it enters in (n-2)f- orbital.
