Answer» Miss Beam wanted to inculcate thoughtfulness and kindness to others to be responsible citizens into the minds of her students. She firmly believed that it could happen only if students themselves undergo the pain or difficulty that blind, deaf, dumb or other disabled people feel. That was the purpose of celebrating different days in her school.
