On behalf of this poem the poet discusses about the importance of Gospel in the – life of Human being. He means to say that there must be a particular aim of life and the hope to achieve the motto of life. There should be effort to achieve the target. The poet says that the men should not stand still and always remain busy in order to get better opportunity in life such as the water of the stream flows forward regularly to enjoy new ways of this world.

The birds are busy flying and every object as well as creatures are busy in their routine. The poet urges the human being to remain busy to lead a better and successful life in this world because changing is the course of nature and without movement it is not possible to create modification without doing any deed. In this way the poet likes to awake his sleeping soul to be his associate to lead a life because working is the mark of life and stability at a particular place is equal to death.

इस कविता के माध्यम से कवि मानव जीवन में लक्ष्य के महत्त्व पर चर्चा करता है। कहने का आशय यह है कि जीवन का एक निश्चित लक्ष्य होना चाहिए तथा उसके पश्चात् आशा होनी चाहिए उस उद्देश्य को प्राप्त करने के लिए। और उस लक्ष्य को प्राप्त करने के लिए प्रयास करना चाहिए। कवि कहता है कि मनुष्य को शान्त खड़ा नहीं रहना चाहिए तथा जीवन में अच्छे अवसर प्राप्त करने के लिए व्यस्त रहना चाहिए। जैसेकि नदी का पानी संसार के नए रास्तों का आनन्द लेने के लिए सदैव आगे बढ़ता रहता है, पक्षी उड़ते रहते हैं तथा सभी वस्तुएं एवं जीव-जन्तु अपने दैनिक क्रिया-कलाप में व्यस्त रहते हैं।

कवि मानव से प्रार्थना करता है कि वह अच्छा और सफल जीवन जीने के लिए व्यस्त रहे क्योंकि परिवर्तन प्रकृति का नियम है। क्योंकि बिना हलचल के तथा बिना कोई काम किए परिवर्तन सम्भव नहीं है। इस तरह कवि अपनी सोई हुई आत्मा को जगाना चाहता है जो कि सफल जीवन जीने के लिए उसकी साथी बने क्योंकि कार्य करना जीवन का प्रतीक है तथा शान्त वे एक स्थान पर स्थाई हो जाना मृत्यु के समान है।
