The elementary charge’s value is approximately 1.602 x 10-19  coulombs, so this means that the charge of an electron is -1.602 x 10-19. That’s the quick version of an electron’s charge, but it would be beneficial to examine what an elementary charge is and how it affects the properties of electrons.
