Cold compression for 20 minutes at interval of 2 hours for first 24 to 48 hours. Do not apply ice directly. Compression: After ice bandage area firmly but not too tight. Compress to stop internal bleeding. Elevate: We should elevate the injured part for relieving pain and reducing swelling. The injured limb is higher than heart.
