Answer» Evaporation is a process in which a liqiud(water) change into gas( water vapour) below its boiling point.Molecules on surface gains the kinetic energy and will come in motion,that is why evaoration is called surface phenomena.Cooling is a process in which gas changes into liquid above the freezing point.Molecules of the gas gain potential energy and interacellular space decreases and then changes the state.
