What is the difference between landslide and soil erosion? |

Answer» DES : It is the FLOW of mud/ rocks/ sand ETC from a higher REGION (like a mountain) to the land below it .It MAY be slow/ fast ,dry/wet.It mostly makes damage to everything at the land below the mountain.EROSION : It is the movement of particles / grains of soil or rock by various causes like wind , water(tides) etc.It erodes the top layer of fertile soil making the area unfertile and uncultivable land.We can PREVENT both landslide and erosion by planting a lot of trees. avoinding deforestation. |
