Answer» Hi Gracy, you have to leave earth and move into space until its magnetic field becomes 0. And at that point, your compass wont work. Galaxy is huge. How far can you go? As you leave the earth and move into space the magnetic field will get weaker even though the field is weaker ,the compass can still align with it meaning that compass on the International Space Station would still be a reliable guide to the North Pole. |
