Answer» it depends on nature of substance ..the m.p. of those substances which expand on melting (eg. paraffin wax ,water) increase with inc. in pressure and m.p. of those substance which contract on melting (eg. iron ) decrease with inc. in pressure M.p dec Melting point decrease on increase in pressure |
