Answer» JAMES Mill divided Indian history into three PERIODS - Hindu Muslim and British. This periodisation has its own problems. it is not right to DIVIDE any period according to Hindus and MUSLIMS because a variety of faith exists simultaneously in those periods. It is also not justified to characterise any period on the basis of any RELIGION.
