The greater part of small intestine is colon. the colon is followed by rectal . the rectal wall mainly absorbs water from the undigested food The faecal matter is egested out through anal opening by the activity of anal spinhcter and the process is called egestion. the main role of large intestine is to suck th ewater which is presented in the digested food because it has still nutrients and minerals |
