1.	What is the significance of ampullary-isthmic junction in the female reproductive tract?
Answer» The act of fertilisation takes place in the female genital track that is at the junction of the isthmus and ampulla (ampullary-isthmic junction) of the Fallopian tube. Not Fertilisation can only occure if the ovum and sperms are tarnsported simultaneously to the ampullay-isthmic junction. All copulations do not lead to fertilisation and pregnancy.
