What Is The Substitute Of Mineral Turpentine (as You Recommended For Touch Wood As A Thinner) Because Mineral Turpentine Is Not Available With Paint Dealers? |
|
Answer» Kerosene/White Spirit are not suitable as a solvent due to incompatible chemical PROPERTIES of Touchwood. It may lead to LESSER durability, poor gloss and slow drying. MTO or Mineral Turpentine Oil is commonly available in PAINT Dealer shops/ Hardware shops. It is often locally called as "Tarpin Oil". Please check with the Dealer if the solvent that he CALLS "Tarpin Oil" is used as solvent for Enamel Paints. If yes, then it can also be used for Touchwood.
