Answer» The human skin is ALMOST a perfect emitter of infrared RADIATION proportional to the surface temperature at any LOCATION of the body. Thermograph is an infrared THERMOMETER incorporated into a scanner so that the entire surface of a body or some portion of the body is scanned and the infrared energy is measured and used to modulate the intensity of a light beam that produces a MAP of the infrared energy on photographic paper.
