Heat is TRANSFERRED via solid material (conduction), liquids and gases (convection), and electromagnetic waves (radiation). Heat transfer is CLASSIFIED into various mechanisms, such as thermal conduction, thermal convection, thermal radiation, and transfer of energy by phase changes. |
