The three water harvesting systems practiced in India are:a) BAMBOO pipe drip irrigation system –this system is USED to irrigate crops and is practiced in the state of Meghalaya.b) Guls and Kuls- this system is used to store water which is used for irrigation in the state of HIMACHAL Pradesh. It stores water by cutting a diversion channel.c) Rainwater harvesting- this system is used to collect, store and use rainwater for irrigation.hope it help U... |
