1.

What is weak electrolyte ? Give examples.

Answer»

Solution :A weak ELECTROLYTE is defined as a substance which dissociates to a SMALL extent in aqueous solution and hence conducts electricity also to a small 1 extent.
e.g. `NH_4OH, OH_3COOH` etc.
In weak electrolytes, as they are partly ionized, an EQUILIBRIUM is set up between the ions and the UNIONIZED electrolyte.
