Answer» The unwanted growing plants that grown in the field with crops and take their essential nutrients and fertilisers,manure,water, and minerals and destroy the growth of plant are known as weeds Unwanted plants which grow in the field are called weeds, e.g. Xanthium (gokhroo), Parthenium (gajar ghas), Cyperinus rotundus (motha).
