What points how can leader misuse power in democratic country? |

Answer» By letting the result of democracy dictate their FUTURE actions … I value democracy in theory, but am convinced that the result is lacking. Just because a person votes, that does not mean their vote is equally valid. The theory of democracy seems to assume that people who PARTICIPATE in a democratic process will accept and meet the responsibility to be educated voters knowledgeable through critical thinking of the issues and people that they vote on. This simply is not close to reality. The leader who follows the polls WITHOUT doing their own hard WORK of discerning and UNDERSTANDING is abusing the democratic process, in my opinion. |
