Depends on what the ‘morality’ actually is. Some are good. Some are perceived good, but instead a zero sum or no value, some are really not good.

The sitting president just claimed Democrats have done nothing to help solve the challenges at the US/Mexico Border. MEANWHILE, Democrats passed $450 Billion dollar Bill to address the serious humanitarian issues at the border.

House of Representatives passed this bill.

Senate also must pass this Bill.

The President must sign the Bill for that bill to become law.

Since Democrats control only the House, REPUBLICANS control the Senate, and the President is who he is, the President making such a statement has a few likely interpretations.

He is claiming a higher morality within the framework of your question. His followers will choose to believe him.

The Senate, which is Republican controlled, will take signals from the Republican president. They may choose to follow the Presidents wishes.

The Democrats have already chosen to serve the higher morality inthis case, by preparing a $50

Now is the Presidents actions and words a higher morality? If you have a realistic understanding of the negative impact of poor social practices, you would say no. If you follow certain news stations, or listen to the words of this president as ‘gospel’, then maybe you say yes.

Without facts being presented to people, it is very difficult for people to know whether they are making the right decision with their vote. This is the crime of the century.

You should consider the people screaming ‘Fake News’ the loudest, as the people most likely to be preaching Fake News.

The same problem any assertion of morality from anyone RUNS into: is it valid, appropriate, useful, real for both the individual(s), the tribe, AND the larger whole of humanity?

Unspoken, it seems in the question, is that there is any other kind of morality?
